This syllabus introduces the basic concept of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and its utility in
geospatial disciplines. It will be equipped with the basic skills on

constructing a basic GIS database. This will provide an understanding of GIS fundamentals elements. Furthermore, it will apply knowledge and skills to operate a GIS software as well as developing a basic GIS database using GIS software.
